Get the launcher now. It installs the game, keeps it up to date and starts it for you.

How to install

  1. Download the launcher

    Click Download the launcher above and save IrisOnline.zip.

  2. Extract it to a folder of your own

    Right-click IrisOnline.zip, choose Extract All…, and pick a folder such as C:\Games. You get a folder called IRIS Online; the game will be installed inside it.

    Do not extract into Program Files and do not run the launcher from inside the zip: the launcher needs to write to its folder.
  3. Start IrisLauncher.exe

    Open the IRIS Online folder and double-click IrisLauncher.exe. No installation and no administrator rights are needed.

    Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”, because the launcher is new and not yet signed. Click More info, then Run anyway.
  4. Let it download the game

    The first start downloads about 1.6 GB. You can close the launcher at any time; the next start carries on where it stopped.

  5. Press PLAY

    When the launcher says Ready to play, press PLAY. Always start the game through the launcher: it checks for updates first.

What you need

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • A graphics card with DirectX 9 support (any current one)
  • About 4 GB of free disk space
  • An internet connection (1.6 GB for the first download; updates are small)

Good to know

  • Updates are automatic: the launcher downloads only what changed.
  • Quick check runs on every start; Full check / Repair checks every file and fixes damaged ones.
  • Your settings and screenshots stay in your game folder and are never overwritten.

Something went wrong?

“The launcher cannot write to …”

The game folder is somewhere Windows protects, such as Program Files. Move the whole IRIS Online folder to C:\Games (or another folder of your own) and start the launcher from there.

“IRIS is running. Close the game, then press Retry.”

The game cannot be updated while it runs. Close it, then press RETRY in the launcher.

“Cannot reach the update server”

Check your internet connection and press RETRY. If it keeps happening, try again a little later.

The game does not start, or crashes right away

Open the launcher and press Full check / Repair. It checks every file and downloads any that are missing or damaged. If your antivirus removed a file, allow the IRIS Online folder and repair again.

The download stopped part way

Start the launcher again. It keeps what it already downloaded and continues.
